Facility dogs

The facility dogs at Children’s Health are registered service dogs that work with a hospital-employed handler on a daily basis. The expansion of our volunteer pet therapy program with eight full-time facility dogs was made possible by a generous donation from PetSmart Charities. Learn more about the dogs on our team.

Volunteer pet therapy

Our Volunteer Pet Therapy teams are registered with either Paws Across Texas or Pet Partners and serve in the hospital on a regular basis with their handler.
